Message from CEO & President

Happy New Year from the Independence Visitor Center! We believe that since our opening two years ago, the Independence Visitor Center has provided a powerful informational vehicle for an industry that is the second largest for Pennsylvania. We are the natural physical extension of the region's marketing efforts that attracts our visitors here. We will continue to sell the region while our visitors experience it. In 2003, we served more than 1.8 million people. We look forward to working with you in 2004 and strengthening our partnerships.

Holiday Happenings

Thousands of visitors at the Independence Visitor Center enjoyed free holiday entertainment, Saturdays in December, 2003. Visitors uncovered holiday happenings like holiday music, colonial characters, regional table displays, holiday crafts, face painting, and holiday shopping bags. Thank you to the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation for sponsoring the events.
