One
Book, One Philadelphia
|
The
goal of One Book, One Philadelphia is to
promote reading, literacy and libraries
and to encourage the Greater Philadelphia
area to come together through reading and
discussing a single book. This year's book
selection is The Color of Water by James
McBride. We invite you to read the book
then join the City for a One Book, One Philadelphia
special event or program. The project runs
from January through March 2004. For more
information and to view a complete calendar
of events, please visit www.library.phila.gov
or call (215) 567-7710.
One Book, One Philadelphia is a project
of the Office of Mayor John F. Street and
the Free Library of Philadelphia.
