Message from CEO & President

Happy New Year from the Independence Visitor Center! We believe that since our opening two years ago, the Independence Visitor Center has provided a powerful informational vehicle for an industry that is the second largest for Pennsylvania. We are the natural physical extension of the region's marketing efforts that attracts our visitors here. We will continue to sell the region while our visitors experience it. In 2003, we served more than 1.8 million people. We look forward to working with you in 2004 and strengthening our partnerships.

Center City Resturant Week

This January, Center City's best restaurants will once again entice diners from all over the region to discover their delicious destinations with Center City Restaurant Week (January 25-30, 2004). Organized by Center City District and Rittenhouse Row, Center City Restaurant Week offers patrons a three-course dinner at 68 of the city's renowned restaurants for just $30.00 (not including tax, gratuity or alcohol). As further enticement, the Philadelphia Parking Association has collaborated to offer parking for $8.00 at more than 40 participating lots and garages from 5:00 PM until 1:00 AM with validation from a participating restaurant.
